Let's write your family history.
I'll create a beautifully written essay presenting a chronological history of your family that documents the collective story of your relatives. This essay will be based on interviews I conduct with you and/or other family members or friends, as well as any documents, artifacts, or memorabilia you possess. Text may be supplemented with photography and video.
The purpose is to ensure your family history is remembered and honored throughout the generations. It's helpful for genealogical projects, eulogies, family celebrations, and remembrances.
Basic package
- 15-18 pages
- If you have an existing rough draft, I'll rewrite or revise as needed. If you have no text, I'll write from scratch.
- Up to four 1-hour interviews with follow-up questions (in person if you're in New York City; otherwise, on Zoom)
- Incorporation of content and/or images from up to five background/historical documents (e.g., letters, identity papers, newspaper clippings)
- Two rounds of editorial review
Premium package
Pricing will depend on the scope of your project, e.g., if you require additional interviews, have more than five background/historical documents, require multiple rounds of editorial review, and/or your family history requires lengthier treatment.
